Arjan sits inland, away from the coast, which means less salt but noticeably more dust. Inland Dubai communities take the brunt of sand carried on the prevailing wind, and it shows up first in curtains, then in anything stored near a window or a balcony door. Buildings here are new enough that most have proper laundry provision, but apartment machines are small and a family load becomes three cycles. That is the point at which weekly collection usually starts making sense on time alone rather than on cost. Wash and iron from AED 10 a shirt. The wash-and-fold bag is AED 49 for up to 10 everyday items, AED 59 for up to 20 and AED 69 for up to 30; bag items come back folded, per-item orders pressed on hangers. Free pickup and delivery on orders of AED 30 or more; under AED 30 an AED 5 delivery fee applies, plus VAT.
