Dubai Laundry Services Compared (2026): a laundry app vs a laundry app vs Love2Laundry vs Justlife vs Swabi
TL;DR: a laundry app is best value per kilo if you fill a 12 kg bag (AED 75/bag, ~AED 6.3/kg). Swabi counts items rather than weight (AED 49 for up to 10 items, AED 59 up to 20, AED 69 up to 30) and books over WhatsApp with no app. a laundry app and a laundry app have the biggest review bases and slick apps. Love2Laundry publishes clear per-item prices. Justlife bundles laundry into a general home-services app. Below is the full honest comparison - including where we lose.

Where each service wins
Choose a laundry app if you have big weekly loads and will reliably fill a 12 kg bag - its per-kilo economics are the best in Dubai. Choose a laundry app if you want the slickest app experience, 45-minute collection slots and the comfort of the biggest review base. Choose Love2Laundry if you prefer clear per-item pricing on everyday garments. Choose Justlife if you already use it for cleaning and want everything in one app.
Choose Swabi if you want a price you can count rather than weigh (AED 49 for up to 10 items, AED 59 up to 20, AED 69 up to 30), a full published price list including abayas, curtains and carpets, WhatsApp booking with no app or account, and an itemised price confirmed before cleaning starts. We are the local, no-app option with transparent pricing.
Where Swabi honestly loses (today)
Honesty builds trust, so: the big apps beat us on review volume - a laundry app shows 13,654 reviews and a laundry app 12,546 to our 200+. They offer native apps with live driver tracking; we run on WhatsApp and a website. If a five-figure review count or in-app tracking is what you value most, they are strong choices.
What we would say back: our 4.7★ average sits in the same quality band, every one of our reviews is a Dubai customer (not spread across 13 countries), and no app means no forced sign-up - you message, we collect. Judge us by the first pickup.
The bag-vs-kilo maths, worked out
A 12 kg bag at AED 75 is unbeatable at ~AED 6.3/kg - IF you genuinely generate 12 kg. A typical single professional produces 4-6 kg per week; a couple, 7-10 kg. Under-fill a bag and your effective per-kg price climbs fast: 8 kg in a 12 kg bag is ~AED 9.4/kg.
Rule of thumb: household of 3+ with weekly pickup → a weight-counted bag wins if you reliably fill it. Singles, couples, or irregular schedules → count the items instead: a Swabi bag is AED 49 up to 10 items, AED 59 up to 20 and AED 69 up to 30, so it pays to send a full tier.
