1. About Swabi Laundry

Swabi Laundry is a laundry and garment care business registered in the United Arab Emirates, operating from Shop 1 K04, Greece Cluster, International City, Dubai, UAE. All references to “Swabi Laundry,” “we,” “us,” or “our” in these Terms refer to the operating entity of Swabi Laundry.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order through our website (swabilaundry.ae), WhatsApp, phone, or in person, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual at our sole discretion.

3. Services

Swabi Laundry provides the following garment care and cleaning services, subject to availability:

  • Ironing Only
  • Dry Cleaning
  • Home Linen Cleaning
  • Curtain Cleaning
  • Carpet & Rug Cleaning
  • Shoe & Bag Cleaning
  • Alterations & Tailoring
  • Corporate & Commercial Laundry

Service availability may vary by area and is subject to change without prior notice. Specialty services (e.g., wedding dresses, leather, suede, heavy curtains) may require extended processing time or additional charges.

4. Orders & Booking

4.1. Orders may be placed via our website, WhatsApp, phone, or in person at our store.

4.2. By placing an order, you are entering into a service agreement with Swabi Laundry for the cleaning and/or care of the items submitted.

4.3. You must provide accurate contact details, delivery address, and any specific garment care instructions at the time of placing an order.

4.4. We reserve the right to decline any order if the items are deemed hazardous, biologically contaminated, or unsuitable for processing.

5. Pickup & Delivery

5.1. Swabi Laundry offers free pickup and delivery within our designated service areas across Dubai. A delivery fee may apply for areas outside our standard coverage zones.

5.2. Pickup and delivery times provided are estimates only. We shall not be liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, public holidays, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

5.3. You or an authorized representative must be available at the designated location to hand over items at pickup and receive items at delivery.

5.4. If no one is available at the scheduled time, we will attempt to reschedule. After two unsuccessful delivery attempts, items will be held at our facility. Additional delivery charges may apply for rescheduled deliveries.

5.5. Items that remain unclaimed for 30 days after the scheduled delivery date will be deemed abandoned. Swabi Laundry reserves the right to donate or dispose of unclaimed items without further notice or liability.

6. Item Count & Inspection

6.1. All items are counted and inspected upon collection. The item count recorded by our staff at our processing facility shall be considered final.

6.2. Any discrepancy in item count must be reported within 24 hours of pickup. Claims made beyond this window will not be entertained.

6.3. During inspection, we assess each garment for pre-existing damage, stains, missing buttons, tears, or defects. Any such observations will be noted and communicated to you. Swabi Laundry shall not be held responsible for pre-existing conditions.

7. High-Value Items

7.1. Customers must declare any item with a value exceeding AED 500 at the time of drop-off or pickup. This includes but is not limited to designer garments, luxury fabrics, branded footwear, high-end bags, heirloom pieces, and wedding attire.

7.2. High-value declarations must be made in writing (WhatsApp message, email, or noted on the order form) and must include the item description and its approximate value.

7.3. For declared high-value items, Swabi Laundry may, at its discretion, apply additional care protocols or decline to process the item if the risk is deemed too high.

7.4. If a high-value item is not declared at drop-off, standard compensation limits (AED 250 per order as outlined in Sections 12 and 13) shall apply regardless of the item’s actual value. By failing to declare, you accept this limitation.

7.5. For declared high-value items where damage or loss is attributable to our negligence, compensation shall be assessed on a case-by-case basis, not exceeding the total declared value of the affected items or AED 1,000 per order, whichever is lower.

8. Garment Care & Limitations

8.1. We follow care label instructions where present. If a garment has no care label, we will use our professional judgment to determine the appropriate cleaning method. We shall not be held liable for adverse results on items without care labels.

8.2. Swabi Laundry takes all reasonable care during the cleaning process. However, we cannot guarantee the removal of all stains. Some stains are permanent due to the nature of the substance, fabric, or the age of the stain.

8.3. Certain fabrics and dyes are inherently unstable. We are not responsible for shrinkage, color bleeding, color fading, or fabric deterioration that occurs during normal cleaning processes, particularly for items that are old, worn, or of delicate construction.

8.4. Embellishments, beading, sequins, and decorative elements may be affected by the cleaning process. We will exercise care but accept no liability for damage to such items.

8.5. We are not responsible for items left in pockets (including cash, jewelry, electronics, documents, or personal belongings). Please empty all pockets before handing over garments.

9. Shoe & Bag Care & Limitations

9.1. Shoe and bag cleaning services are provided as part of Swabi Laundry’s service offerings. All terms herein apply equally to items submitted for shoe and bag care.

9.2. Cleaning outcomes vary significantly depending on the material (leather, suede, nubuck, canvas, mesh, synthetic), the age and condition of the item, and the type and severity of stains or damage.

9.3. We do not guarantee the restoration of shoes or bags to their original condition. Cleaning is intended to improve appearance, not to reverse wear, aging, or structural deterioration.

9.4. We are not responsible for colour fading, material discolouration, glue separation, sole detachment, or deterioration of aged adhesives that may occur during the cleaning process. These are common in older or heavily worn footwear and are beyond our control.

9.5. Suede and nubuck items carry inherent risk during cleaning. Texture changes, watermark patterns, and colour variation may occur. By submitting suede or nubuck items, you accept these risks.

9.6. Designer, vintage, or limited-edition footwear and bags must be declared under Section 7 (High-Value Items). Undeclared items are subject to the standard AED 250 per order compensation cap.

9.7. Any claim for damage to shoes or bags must be reported within 7 days of delivery, accompanied by photographs.

9.8. Items left uncollected for 30 days after the scheduled delivery date will be subject to the unclaimed items policy in Section 5.5.

10. Pricing & Payment

10.1. All prices are quoted in UAE Dirhams (AED).

10.2. Current pricing is available on our website at swabilaundry.ae/pricing and may be updated from time to time without prior notice.

10.3. Payment may be made via cash on delivery, bank transfer, or any other payment method made available by Swabi Laundry.

10.4. For prepaid orders, services will commence only upon successful receipt of payment.

10.5. We reserve the right to withhold delivery of completed items until all outstanding payments are settled in full.

11. Cancellations & Refunds

11.1. Orders may be cancelled free of charge at any time before the pickup has been completed.

11.2. Once items have been collected by our driver, no cancellation or refund will be issued, as processing may have already commenced.

11.3. If a refund is approved for any reason, it will be processed within 7–10 business days and issued to the original payment method.

11.4. We do not offer refunds based on dissatisfaction with stain removal outcomes, provided the garment was cleaned using appropriate methods.

12. Damaged Items

12.1. If you believe an item has been damaged during our cleaning process, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery by contacting us via WhatsApp or email.

12.2. All claims must be accompanied by photographs of the damage and the item in question must be retained in its delivered state for inspection.

12.3. For undeclared items, where damage is attributable to our handling, compensation shall not exceed AED 250 per order.

12.4. For items declared under Section 7 (High-Value Items), compensation shall be assessed per Section 7.5.

12.5. Compensation will not be offered for damage resulting from normal wear and tear, pre-existing conditions, inherent fabric defects, absence of care labels, or items cleaned against our advice.

13. Lost Items

13.1. In the unlikely event that an item is lost while in our possession, you must report the loss within 7 days of the scheduled delivery date.

13.2. We will conduct an internal investigation. For undeclared items, if the item is confirmed lost due to our negligence, compensation shall not exceed AED 250 per order.

13.3. For items declared under Section 7 (High-Value Items), compensation shall be assessed per Section 7.5.

13.4. Swabi Laundry is not liable for items lost due to incorrect item counts that were not disputed within 24 hours of pickup.

14. Customer Responsibilities

14.1. Empty all pockets and remove personal belongings before handing over items.

14.2. Inform us of any garments that require special care, have been previously treated with chemicals, or have known defects.

14.3. Declare all high-value items (exceeding AED 500) at the time of drop-off as per Section 7.

14.4. Provide clear and accurate delivery instructions and contact information.

14.5. Clearly separate items that require different services (e.g., dry cleaning vs. wash & iron).

14.6. Report any concerns regarding order accuracy, damage, or quality within the timeframes specified in these Terms.

15. Intellectual Property

15.1. All content on swabilaundry.ae — including text, images, logos, graphics, and software — is the property of Swabi Laundry and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

15.2. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any of our content without prior written consent.

16. Privacy & Data Protection

16.1. We collect and process personal information (name, phone number, address, order history) solely for the purpose of providing our services.

16.2. We do not sell, share, or disclose your personal data to third parties except where required by law or necessary to fulfil our service obligations (e.g., delivery logistics).

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Swabi Laundry, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of our services.

18. Limitation of Liability

18.1. To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, Swabi Laundry’s total aggregate liability for any and all claims arising from or related to our services shall not exceed AED 500.

18.2. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of use, lost profits, or emotional distress.

18.3. Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable UAE law.

19. Force Majeure

Swabi Laundry shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, civil unrest, fire, power outages, or disruption to transportation networks.

20. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon publication on our website. Continued use of our services after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

21. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

22. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
